| Cable joint temperature monitoring and analysis system is very important to improve security and credibility of power supply cable and prevent from fire accident. At present, temperature monitoring devices using for urban electricity supply cable branch box exist some problems such as difficulty of setting and maintenance, high cost, and so on.The Cable joint temperature monitoring system designed in this paper which revolved about MSP430 ultralow power MCU, schelduled byμC/OS-II embedding operating system, and access Internet by embedded TCP/IP protocol, to realize remote and real time monitoring. This system collectes temperature and current data via monitoring teminal which located on cable joint, utilize short communication and GPRS to transfer the data to server in monitoring center, provides alarming function after data analysis.
