Research On Predictive Control And Application In The Thermal Process

The history and state of Predictive Control is summarized,the principle of Predictive Control is introduced briefly.On the basis,the following contributions aremade in the paper:1. In the paper a novel scheme is presented, which deals with the thermal unit systems operating over wide range. The algorithm is tested on a 300MW once-through reheater coordinate control system, simulation results demonstrate the proposed scheme can obtain satisfactory control performance.2. CFBB is a system with distribution parameters, non-linearity, time-dependence, and long time lags. A new scheme based on predictive control algorithm is presented, and the scheme is employed in a CFBB. Simulation results show that the main advantage of the strategy is that multivariable plants with time delay can be handled very easily,and the strategy has excellent load adaptability.
