The railway signal test vehicle is used to inspect signal display, track circuit and cab signal utilization condition on line periodically. Along with the train speed increasing as well as the development of the signal and communication, the original signal testing system has not been able to satisfy the new request of testing and maintenance both in hardware and software. Therefore it is urgently required to develop new signal testing system.As an important part of the testing system, the train integrated positioning system can provide accurate and immediate train position information in test progress. It can not only display the position of the train, more important, but also locate the malfunction quickly when it happens. It will improve the performance of the test system effectively.This paper's prime work is as follows:1) Analyses the function and significance of railway signal testing vehicle online auto-test system;2) Completes the requirement analysis and functional design based on the research on the railway signal auto-test system;3) Based on the research on the integrated positioning technique, compares different integrated positioning scenarios and the designs of the positioning arithmetic according to the requirement analysis and functional design;4) Based on the research on the Kalman filter arithmetic and map matching technique, completes the design of the information fusing arithmetic, and the simulation with Matlab;5) Completes the development of the positioning system based on the design of the hardware and the software. As the key of the development of system, the software is developed in LabWindows/CVI environment Utilizing modularization design method and ActiveX technique;6) Completes the debugging of the positioning system after the development to ensure the good reliability and stability of the system;7) Implement the positioning system, and completes the scene implementation report.
