The research purpose of this thesis is to design a platform of performance test for vehicle engine. This platform can test the general performance signal, vibration signal and noise signal. The function of this platform includes: real-time data acquisition and analysis of multi-channel signal, data storage and real-time displaying etc.With the development of computer technique, the enhancement of computer performance and the progress on professional software, virtual instrument technique is getting a deeper development. Vibration measurement-and-analysis based on virtual instrument technique has become a development trend. Therefor, the author develops a multi-channel vibration measurement-and-analysis system based on industrial computer as hardware workbench, Laboratory Virtual Instrument Workbench (LabVIEW) as development software, essential sensor, signal conditioner and data acquisition cards.In this paper, firstly, the author analyzes the significance of performance test of vehicle engine for the development of vehichle industry and people; then, introduces the development of the measuring instrument, the virtual instrument technology as well as the LabVEIW software, briefly; later, elaborates the design of the system. The key point of this paper is to introduce the design idea, theoretical basis and the structure of hardware and software of the system.This measurement-and-analysis system is based on data acquisition cards and LabVIEW software. This plan is fit for enginer and lab cause of advantages as follows: excellent expanding performance, high precision and friendly interface.
