The life of vehicles and key parts is an important problem which must be realized on the vehicles operation and maintenance. It has a direct influence on the safety of vehicles and the establishment of vehicle maintenance cycle. However, vehicle manufacturers and application of the relevant departments are often unable to afford life values. The Life influencing factors are complicated, we usually establish vehicles life depend on the specific vehicle operation status. So that, the development of the vehicle life management has became the urgent affairs.Decision support system is developed from the basis of management information system and operations research. Decision support system appeared to be solved automatically by a computer to organize and coordinate the operation of multi-model and the access and processing of large volume of data on database, to achieve a higher level of decision-making ability for policy-makers, and to provide useful information to support decision-making.Using Visual C++ programming language develop wagon life management decision support system (HCDSS). Through reliability theory and mathematical statistical methods of data processing, gained the life distribute regularities, the best maintenance cycle, and operating life of fault components. Thus achieving a scientific and effective life management of wagon and its key parts to further improve wagon maintenance system, achieve the purpose of optimizing investment, and continue to promote reform of wagon maintenance system.
