Matrix converter (MC) is a new-style green converter. The later circuit adopts it to realize high frequency (HF) converter, which can solve many problems brought by 50 Hz transformer in traditional converter. So it arouses attentions of many people.The paper focus on the research of the single phase /three phase matrix style HFL converter which adopt MC as later circuit .The characteristics of it's topology is to realize inverter using DC/HFAC/AC two stage switch and the former DC/HFAC use traditional inverter; with the isolated transformer, the later circuit makes use of single-phase/3 phase to carry out HFAC/AC function. This paper proposes an analytic method which is separation and link, and the research of simulation and experiment is implemented with two kinds of methods which are called SPWM modulation and Space vector modulation, it has proved the feasibility of the analytic method of separation and link as well.Aiming at the nonlinear specialty of the electronic circuit, the closed-loop experiment is carried out using the control method of Sliding mode. The simulation and experiment results validate the feasibility of the control idea. Because of the superiority of the Digital control compared with the simulated control, this paper adopts the digital of DSP and CPLD to design in the idiographic realization.The experiment carry out two kind of project using a prototype, it gained the open looped result of SPWM modulation under separation and link and the closed-loop result of Space vector modulation under Sliding mode control. And the results validate the feasibility of analyzed idea and modulation idea and the control mode.The experiment of this thesis uses the same experiment prototype, implements two experiment project. In the experiment, deserves the result of the separation and link and sine pulse width modulation (SPWM) which isopen-loop and the result of the separation and link+ space vector modulation and sliding model control which is closed-loop. In the experiment point of view verify the feasibility of analyses, modulation and control thought.
