With the development of automatic control theory, electric power and electronic technology, electronic computer, and microelectronics and so on, inverter technology has entered a new era, and its application has reached a new climax accordingly, which lies mostly in the high-frequency direction of inverter. With the enhancement of turn-on frequency, the questions are increasingly prominent that the switch loses increase rapidly, the perceptual shut-down voltage peak is high, the allowance clear current peak is also high, and the electromagnetic interference is serious, so the switch loses along with the high-frequency inverter must be settled, and the soft-switching technology is coming forth as a key to these questions.Now the theories with relation to soft-switching technology home and broad are advancing very fast, and the soft-switching control modes are numerous, but the soft-switching technology achieves much less application in inverter technology, and some questions to be improved are confronted. To these questions, the paper puts more important research on the whole scheme about the application of soft-switching technology in inverter, based on which, then, the whole scheme structure that can constructs the soft-switching inverter employing ADRPI is demonstrated in details. In addition, the paper analyzes the work principle and process of the soft-switching inverter circuit, especially discusses thoroughly some main problems in ADRPI application. On the base of what is referred above, the paper emphasizes analyzing the zero voltage and engineering achievement of the soft switching, the key technology of which is the checking technology when circuit is over zero. If the zero voltage can't be checked exactly, the "soft switching" is of insignificance, therefore the paper has designed the check circuit of zero voltage after analyzing the correlative theory. Besides, the research is also made on the dead-time question of the ADRPI soft-switching inverter, which is less related in almost literature. Dead-time is one of the main factors that brought current aberrance, so it is discussed and proved in this paper. After the theory analysis of the main circuit of soft-switching inverter and control mode is conducted, the inverter circuit has been designed, and the simulation analysis of system and experimental demonstration are implemented meantime.
