| With consumers paying more attention to vehicle safety, and as well as the development of electronic technology, Brake systems have gone through a number of changes and improvements. Brake-by-wire technology has been a reseach hotspot in Europe, United States and other Western industrialized countries over the last 10 years, EMB (Electromechanical brake system) as a branch of Brake-by-wire has become development trends of vehicle braking system. As parts of EMB, The electronic brake pedal and electrically driven actuators replace conventional braking system: electronic brake pedal to identify drivers brake intent; electrically driven actuators to realize the intent.EMB comes from X-by-wire of the plane industry. X-by-wire brake system is divided into two types: EHB (Electro-Hydraulic Brake) and EMB. EHB is considered to be the predecessor of EMB. The prototype of EMB has been shown up abroad, and is expected to go into production before 2010. Domestically, reasearchs on EMB are just in commencement phase. This paper mainly do some basal and exploring work, the follwing researches have been completed.1.The frame work and design of main partsIn reference to related foreign patents, and on the basis of EMB of foreign companies, select a preferred option. The paper discussed the mian parts of EMB in detail, and the selection methods of main parts, including the selection of ball screw, the motor, planetary gear reducer. Through a graphical user interface, the selection of all components of EMB can be easily implemented.2. Electronic brake pedalThe study on the elctronic brake pedal has two differen directionsabroad.Based on two direction, the paper put forword two different project according to the parameters of present vehicle jeep2500, and then discussed the selection, design methods of main components of electronic brake pedal.3. Simulation software of EMBThe paper puts forward the request of simulating software according to the fact, and gives the simulating model. The model includes: the driver's intent model, the vehicle model, the tracition control model and the EMB model. Then build the software under the Matlab/simulink, and on different four roads:low-μroad,middle-μroad, step-μroad, and split-μroad, a simulation study is made. As a result, the traction control algotithm based on EMB can prevent the driving wheels from exceesive spin effectively and improve traction and stability of the vehicle.4. Testing project of EMBThe paper introduces the xPC Target, and design a real-time testing system of EMB based on xPC Target. The paper puts forward the testing bench project and the testing project for EMB. |
