As a necessary part of public transport system, public transport stop almost distributes at all roads which have public transport routes. Although public transport stop takes up a very short segment of the road and just a spot of a route, not only influents speed and road capacity, but also influents the other vehicles speed. Public transport stop functions and the bottleneck characteristics can't be neglected.With the rapid development of our country's economy, traffic volumes increase a lot. When public transport vehicles pull into and pull out public transport stops, the mutual interference between public transport vehicles and the other vehicles is very serious, which not only influents speed, but also causes traffic confusion and decrease traffic volumes, especially at the top of traffic volumes. Traffic bottleneck which public transport vehicles caused in public transport stops not only causes environment pollution and traffic safe trouble, but also restricts economy and society development.With the rapid development of ITS and micro-traffic simulation technology, people pay more and more attention to make use of micro-traffic simulation to analyze traffic flow characteristics of public transport stop influence section and various kinds of factors which influences traffic flow's operation.The study on traffic flow characteristics of public transport stop influence section and public transport vehicle operation micro-traffic simulation model can exactly analyze vehicles'operate states, estimate seasonally run times on the road, calculate public transport benefits and provides reference on construction of intelligent public transport, and it also has important meaning on scientific traffic management, improvement of road capacity and resolution of traffic jam.Base on above study background, it studies on traffic flow characteristics of public transport stop influence section at the microscopic point, the contents of this dissertation are: Chapter one is introduction, mainly introduces study background, object, meaning, and main content and technique route of this dissertation.Chapter two mainly studies on traffic flow characteristics of public transport stop influence section. At first, classifies various kinds of public transport stop, analyzes the merit and shortcoming of various kinds of public transport stops; and then make use of data investigated physically to study on traffic flow characteristics of public transport stop influence section. Firstly, study on the factors which influents traffic flow run behaviors, the leading factors include volume, the frequency of pull in stop and dwell times, and then build regression model of influence factors, moreover exert F test and T test to test regression model and model parameters. It makes use of test result to analyze the influence degree of influence factors on traffic flow.Chapter three construct public transport vehicle operation micro-traffic simulation model. At first, instruction on TPSS micro-traffic simulation model, and make use of TPSS as simulation flat to construct public transport vehicle operation micro-traffic simulation model, and then analyze frame of public transport vehicle operation micro-traffic simulation model, include public transport network description model, public transport vehicle generation model, passengers need model, bus stop even responses model, public transport operation model and so on.Chapter four's main content is modeling traffic flow operation behaviors and validate simulation model in stop section. At first, modeling traffic flow operation behaviors includes: the operation behaviors of public transport vehicle in bus stop, modeling following vehicle behinds buses and modeling society vehicles at border lane. And then it investigates both bus bays and curbside stops, makes use of investigation date to validate public transport vehicle operation model. The result of validation shows this simulation model can recurrent operation of public transport vehicle and the interaction between public transport vehicle and other traffic flows.Chapter five is the application of simulation model. Firstly, it builds simulation project, and products large number of simulation data, makes use of these date to build spot diagram, makes use of these spot diagram to analyze the influence of bus stop on lanes, and finds some valuable conclusions.Chapter six is the conclusion of full text. And at the some time need to analyze some further questions.The new ideas of this dissertation can be concluded as follows:1. Through the studies on characteristics of traffic flow in public transport stop influence section, to build public transport vehicle micro-traffic simulation model, then to validate the simulation model.2. Make use of this simulation model to analyze the influence of public transport stop on the speed of all lanes. And find some valuable conclusions; these conclusions can be the base of stop transform.
