Water cooled techniques, which causes low efficiency and great waste of water, is adopted in most thermal power plants in our country which is deficient in water resources. These years, air cooled condenser system is in great promotion and use because of its water saving characteristic.Air cooled condenser platform is a kind of new structural system, which is appeared with air cooled techniques. It is different with general structural style because of the nonuniform distribution of stiffness and mass in the vertical direction. At present, nearly all the air cooled condenser platforms in our country are designed by foreign institute. In order to promote the domestically process of this new structural system, series of experimental research are developed to propel the domestic progress, in which 600MW air cooled condenser system in Tong Liao power plant is appointed a model projects of demonstration by the Chinese Developments and Improvements Committee, and 600MW air cooled condenser unit is set to the Ten-Five important equipment research program. At the same time, studies on big fan, heat engine, thermal refluxing, and civil engineering are conducted by relative institutes, which are organized by China Power Investment Corporation.This theis focuses on the research of structure design method of air cooled condenser platform. Based on the extensive investigation and survy, including summary and conclusion of experiment result, property of structure under working load and earthquake action, choose of wind coefficient, and the approximate calculation method of damp are discussed in the theis. Besides, qualitative analysis of structure property under some non-load factors is conducted. Aiming at the problems presenting to the connection form between pipe colomn and steel truss, better connection methods are bring forward. Loading effect, loading combination and design method are proposed in the end.
