Chinese ancient building held the important status in the world, and the primarily timber structure was honored by its glorious history, quantity and complex technical. Scientific cultural connotation extremely rich, and its earthquake resistance performance were good. These have had been through repeatedly about thousand years though the wind and rain baptism preservation until now. Ancient construction has contained the ancient Chinese civilization essence. But many retain ancient wood buildings' status is seriously, because of age remote. They need to carry on the effective reinforcement maintenance work promptly. Regarding these load bearing China civilizations and the historical information ancient building, service principle unusual strict which its requests. Firstly, it cannot destroy its original historical culture information. Secondly, their structural failures spot to obtain the effective restoration, thus long-time preservation.This article mainly for carries on the experimental study work of reinforcement using CFRP to the column and beam of timber structure. There are 8 test samples of wooden column experiment. Through to the different reinforcement quantity, the different diameter component reinforcement experiment, obtained the CFRP reinforcement wooden pole supporting capacity formula after the analysis computation, it will be allowed provides the reference to the next fundamental research and the project reinforcement.The part of wooden beam reinforcement, this article has mainly studied its shearing failure and the reinforcement enhances anti-shearing the capacity. Through 7 beams test sample experimental study, summarized its two kind of mainly shearing failure shape. Analyzes two kind of different destructions morph genesis from the theoretical calculation, and aimed at two kind of different destructions shapes to propose the corresponding reinforcement method. This will be allowed to provide the reference and the model in the future to the more thorough careful research work.
