Multi-ribbed slab structure (MRSS), which meets the desire of the national building energy efficiency, wall reform and the residence industrialization, has good prospects. However, as a new style of structural system, the study on Multi-ribbed slab structure is limited to the analysis on the properties of single-objective. At present, the field of optimization, coordination and perfection between multi-targets is still untouched. Consequently, it is undoubtedly necessary to do the research on the multi-objective optimization of multi-ribbed composite wall which is the main load-bearing member in the multi-ribbed slab structure (MRSS).Based on the previous experiment study and theoretical analysis, the paper completely analyzes and studies on the multi-objective optimization design method of multi-ribbed composite wall, which lays a theoretical foundation for the engineering application of this structural system.The following are the main content: first, multi-ribbed composite wall with uniformly meshed ribs is studied with giving dual attention to its applicability and economy. Through using the method of evaluation function and α, the multi-objective optimization model considering both cost and diagonal shear strength is constructed.second, the sequential quadratic programming method and the mathematical optimization tool box in MATLAB are employed, on the basis of the building of multi-objective optimization model, to optimize multi-ribbed composite wall with uniformly meshed ribs and outer frame with given dimension; The general process for optimization calculation is presented. That provides a reference for the further study on Multi-ribbed slab structure (MRSS) in the area of optimization and meanwhile supplies a new method for the engineering optimization design in the future.Finally, by the example analyzing, every necessary link in the optimal process is introduced in some detail. The Optimal steps and attentive questions are explained And the optimal results are verified by ANSYS Finite Element software, which confirms that the optimization model is both valuable for theoretical analysis and practical application, and can meet practical engineering.
