Based on the hydrological geology, engineering geology, and geometry models obtained from adjacent buildings No.6, No.7 and No.1, the writer analyses the various reasons why the tall buildings sink and compares common methods of calculating sinking with reference to design of stake bases. Finally, she prefers to use equivalent sum of slice to do the prediction and evaluation. One of characters of this paper is to take building No.1, No.6 and No.7 into account and to refer to observation data got from not total sinking on site. In general, it is useful for this method.
