This paper disrbe a tall-building ── pele-group-slab -foundation──soil inter-action model in the lateral loading and proposes a three-dimensional numerical tech-nique for the whole structure analysis.This paper uses the finite-layer theory to simulate the transversely isotropic lay-ered soil, and uses a flat-shell element which combines a refined non-conformingquadrilateral plan isoparametric element with drilling degrees of freedom and mindlinPlat bending element using reduced integration so as to cope with the displacementharmony between upper-structare and fower-stutcture. Each node of this element hassix degrees of freedom. In addition, this paper discribes upper-structure,foundationgirders and piles as space-girder elements.In this paper, a numerical model is presented that may be used for the analysisof lateral load behavio of pile group in layered soil and that may be used for the re-flection of Pile group effect and pile group load distributing ratio by combining the fi-nite-layer theory and m method. The purpose of this model is to compute pile groupload distributing ratio by using the numerical method.Based on the Pile group numerical model, this paper presents a tallbuilding──Pile-group-slab-foundation- soil interaction model in the lateral loading. Throughcomputing a given building and analysizing the results, this paper studies: 1 ) the influence of interaction method to the upper-structure lateral displacement and fram-work internal force compared with the normal design method; 2) the influence of pilediameter, slab thickness and soil lateral and soil laterai stiffness to the results; 3) interaction of axialand lateral structure respones.In this paper, Matlab is used for programming and the total stiffness matrix isformed at one tine, and the iterative method js used.
