The two suits of electrostatic precipitators (ESP) of Benbu power plant going to put into operation were designed by Anhui significance Environmental equipment company. For geographical restrictions, the two exports of ESP are not symmetrical. These decrease the efficiency of ESP, reduce the fan life and increase the energy consumption. So, the company built a Physical Model to find Optimization. On the basis of experiment on gas flow distribution of electrostatic precipitator model, this article use computer flow dynamic software (FLUENT), solve 3D flow field distribution in the flue of electrostatic precipitator model. And verify the availability of numerical simulation model by comparing the numerical simulation results and experimental data. And more, optimize the Flue On the basis of experiment and numerical simulation. There are 3 main conclusions in this article.(1)Numerical simulation gas distribution in the flue of ESP were generated by Non-institutional mesh, use k-e two equation, overflow model and wall function deal with boundary condition. By comparing simulate result with dada of experiment, the result is in reason, fit the fact and can be used in engineering.(2)Optimize the bafflers and shapes of the Flue On the basis of experiment and numerical simulation. Design curved bafflers and non-symmetrical bafflers in the Two-room exports. Then, list the Numerical simulate result of the flue after Optimization at last.(3)A11 numerical simulation was on the base of flue model. The Optimization can be used for model modification.
