The stability analysis of slopes is an important research problem in geotechnical engineering. In present application of practical projects, the method of limit equilibrium is mostly usurally used. There are some reasons for that.First,it is very easy understood and mastered by personnel of project. Second, it can provide safety factors of stabilization of slopes that is used to appraise the possibility of stabilization of slopes. But the safety factor of stability is challenge in engineering application. Because of the state of original stress in soil is ignored and disfigurement of finite slice method is in exacted at all time. In different conditions of soil consolidation, K0 is the lateral stress coefficient of soil state, which has influenced the property of soil and excavation of slope. Considering the state of soil original stress, my tutor has given the calculate formulae of safety factor with applying Coulomb's equation for shear strength of soil and Mohr -Coulomb rule.In the paper, there are many examples of safety factor using the method, the method of limit equilibrium and the method of finite element. Programme has been made for developing the method of my tutor into soil slopes of layers.
