When vehicles are braking in cornering, the inter-coupling action between the braking system and the steering system will affect the braking performance and the handling stability of vehicles. In order to improve the integrated performance of the vehicles, it is necessary to make an integrated control of the above two systems. In the paper, firstly, the vehicle model of anti-lock braking system and active front wheel steering is constructed. Secondly, the adaptive fuzzy control model of anti-lock braking and PID control model of active front wheel steering system are set up respectively. Then, a coordination controller is designed to harmonize the influences of anti-lock braking system and active front wheel steering system, and the integrated control of anti-lock braking system and active front steering system is achieved. The results of simulation show that the coordination control strategy can improve the integrated performance of the vehicles. Finally, with the environment of the graphics programming, a program of arithmetic of logical gate-limited control is finished and tested on the road for the anti-lock braking system of the vehicle, and the results of the test confirm the validity of the ECU controller which was designed.
