The requirement of energy-saving and environment protecting is higher and higher with the development of architecture of our country. Ground source heat pumps is a kind of heat pump which saves the energy and protects our environment, it makes good use of the low-level energy in the ground and is one of the green energy technologies for continuous use in the 21th century. Ground source heat pump is worldly used during recent years. The government of each area considers it as a chance to develop its economy. There are several projects in Kiangs province. However, the designing parameters are mostly taken from designing software of overseas and other areas, so there are differences in conditions of geology and climate with areas. Therefore, based on the investigations of some projects of ground source heat pump system in Naming, we build up the lab to study the designing parameters for ground source heat pumps in Nanjing. The experiment is studied for single U-vertical ground heat exchangers in low level ground under the state of uncontinuous working in winter and summer. The COP of the ground source heat pumps is higher than air cooling heat pump system. For stony ground, heat exchange amount in per unit depth of well in summer and in winter. The temperature of the ground out of the heat exchangers is observed at different monitoring points in wells with time.We also studied the running strategies of ground source heat pump system coupled with radiant floor heating system by experiments. Thus, under the program, the energy-saving and economic of ground source heat pump system is showed off completely, and the energy-saving of radiant floor heating system is fully applied, so the technology and economy of the program is high enough.
