The proportional technique of the electric-hydraulics and the numeric control technique of the electric-hydraulics fill up the blank between the technique of the traditional switch-control and servo-control. It is the most animated branch in the fluid drive and in the control technique. In the system of the proportional technique of the electric-hydraulics, the proportional valve is an indispensable component in the system of the proportion-control, and the performance of the proportional electromagnetic iron will directly affect the performance of the entire valve. Hence, the proportional electromagnetic iron used in the proportional valve plays an important role in the whole system.In this paper, there are three main parts: founded the model of the proportional electromagnetic iron; analysed the static characteristic of the proportional electromangentic iron; analysed the harmonic characteristic of the proportional electromagnetic iron. At fist, by the FEA (Finite Element Analyse) static analyses in the model of the proportional electromagnetic iron, we can get the intensity of the magnetic induction in the magnetic air gas, the density of the magnetic force line, the distributing of the magnetic field in the proportional electromagnetic iron and the relation between the electromangentic force and the structure of the permanence magnet or the value of importing electric flow. Finally, by the FEA harmonic analyses of the proportional electromangentic iron, we can attain the relation between the eddy and the frequency of importing electric signals and the connection of the energy loss and the matieral physical attribute. These can provide the important theoretical evidence for the design of the proportional electromagnetic iron which has some good qualities, such as high work frequency, rapid response, low energy loss, etc and have the important referencing value and the guiding significance to accurately compute the corresponding relation of the displacement of the valve core and the driving force.
