| Gas turbine demonstrates its formidable vitality for the merits of its light weight, big power, easy operation, strong mobility and so on. And it takes the driving force more and more application in the warship, the freighter, drilling platform and power station. It is well known, this kind of engine needs to intake amount of air, but there is the massive salinity in the sea atmosphere, which exist by the aerosol form. Therefore the air intake system in the ship has the request of desalinization, gas turbine with large intake quantity have more stringent demands for desalting efficiency. Wire-mesh filter is an important portion of marine air-intake filter. Aim to more and more strict requirement of marine gas turbine, a new-style combined wire-mesh filter was designed in the dissertation. To make the conventional wire-mesh filter as a new style combined filter, we can change the diameter of the front and the back mesh. This dissertation mainly introduces the change of resistance character and efficiency character of the new style of wire-mesh filter. Wire-mesh filter in use for desalting are simulated numerically and corresponding experimental study, so that supply reliable reference for design and manufacture of high-powered marine moisture separators. In this dissertation, under mentioned works had been done mostly1. Defined the numerical simulated model of new style wire-mesh filter, which strictly reflected the physical authenticity in the shape of geometry boundary and try my best not to make any simplification.2. Finished numerical simulation of resistance character and efficiency character in new-style wire-mesh filter, analyzed the result of numerical simulation. And further researched the influence of the change of wire diameter, distance between wire mesh layers to pressure drop and entrance droplet diameter, gas velocity to filter efficiency.3. A special mini-type experimental was designed and finished in wind tunnel, which was used for testing the characteristic of wire-mesh filter and tested and verified the numerical simulation results. The research provide theoretic basis for the design and optimization of new style combined wire-mesh filter in the future. |
