| As a type of power device, gas turbine is more and more widely used in ship field,because of its big air inflow, gas turbine will inhale a lot of salty air when working in themarine environment. If the salt can not be separated, it will have a huge impact on engineperformance. Wire mesh filter is a important constituent of gas turbine inlet filtration device,and its pressure loss occupies more than half of resistance loss of the whole inlet filtrationsystem, so the prediction research of wire mesh filter resistance characteristics has importantsignificance for improving the gas turbine inlet quality.This article studies the performance of wire mesh filter from two aspects of numericalsimulation and experiment research. Through numerical simulation method, the internal flowof wire mesh filter is studied detailedly, and the resistance characteristic is calculated.Combining with the verification of experimental research, a relatively accurate resistancecharacteristic prediction method is obtained. The main research content of this article isdivided into the following several aspects:1.Keeping the same tension degree, a lot of size measurement of the existing laboratorymesh is carried out. Through the mathematical statistics method, the size of mesh average gridspacing and mesh diameter is obtained, and the size parameter is used as the basis of buildingdifferent mesh calculation domain model in this article.2. In order to truly reflect wire mesh filter internal flow and reasonably embody mesh lapform, the wire mesh real three-dimensional model without simplification is set up. Accordingto the previous proposed theoretical basis, the three-dimensional simplified model andtwo-dimensional simplified model is adopted. Basing of the above three kinds of modelschemes, a large amount of calculations is cattied out, and the resistance characteristicschanges of wire mesh filter in different working conditions, different layers and differentrandom models is obtained. Through the comparative analysis of the numerical simulationresults, the best simulation scheme-two-dimensional simplified model for researching wiremesh filter resistance characteristics is obtained.3. On the base of full consideration of all the possible influencing factors, combiningwith the existing experimental condition, a fine special wind tunnel test bench of wire mesh filter is designed, and experiment research on resistance characteristic is carried out. Theexperiment results is close to the numerical simulation results of calculation model, whichverifies the accuracy of the numerical simulation.4. Based on two-dimensional simplified model, influencing factors of wire mesh filter isresearched through the orthogonal test method. Through analysis, the influence law anddegree that mesh diameter, layer spacing and mesh spacing have on resistance characteristicsis obtained. |
