The "Research of key technology of the new type economy transformer with triangle configuration round section iron roll-core" is an important project of Shanghai science and technology committee, which sponsors this thesis. The thesis is one of the key technology researches in this important project.Currently, most transformer producers adopt terrace iron core to make transformer. The new type economy transformer with symmetrical triangle configuration round section iron roll-core that was designed recently, its iron roll-core designing and manufacture technology need some more research and development. This paper focuses on a deep research of manufacturing system of economy iron roll-core transformer and technology in job shop scheduling.Aiming at resolving problems existing in designing and manufacturing parts of new type economy transformer with symmetrical triangle configuration round section iron roll-core, the paper adopts computer control technology as well as genetic algorithm to set about research on designing and manufacturing system from several respects such as intelligent algorithm, intelligent control, hardware and software. The paper also designs computer cutting control system for feeding-belt, computer winding control system for iron roll-core and develop job shop scheduling technology based on genetic algorithm in iron roll-core transformer manufacturing system.The paper analyzes the manufacturing art of new type economy transformer with symmetrical triangle configuration round section iron roll-core, and makes a preliminary sketch of the structure of manufacturing system of economy iron roll-core transformer. On base of that, the paper does a research on the winding method and puts forwards a saving materials scheme. The developed cutting control software and winding control system including software and hardware are tested in cooperate enterprises, the result is expectable.In order to meet requirements in our transformer manufacturing system, the paper proposes two-level scheduling system. The upper scheduling level takes charge of whole task distribution from control center to all shops; the lower scheduling level arranges detailed tasks in different shops. This paper, taking producing in cutting shop for example, provides a scheduling model based on improved genetic algorithm which adds the coding method based on machine assignment to the general coding method based on task order and designs the corresponding crossover, mutation operations to resolve the problem of multi-goal optimization and balance the relation between producing cost and working time. Above work has a certain innovation. At last, the paper holds a deep theoretic research on the genetic algorithm and points a new direction for further job shop scheduling research.The shop scheduling technology based on the improved genetic algorithm in our economy transformer manufacturing system not only improves the traditional manufacturing method as a bold try, but also helps to enhance the economic benefit of the transformer manufacturing industry and to improve the competition ability of the national manufacturing industry in one way.
