The Study Of Automobile Aluminum-rims X-ray Real-time Detection Image Processing

When the people do the online real-time detection of the automobile aluminum-rims by X- ray, it is so easy to make wrong and missing judgment, because of the image resolution and the disturbance of the noise. Although with the help of the digital image processing software, it is easy to solve the problem. This object comes from the software part of"The automobile aluminum-rims X-ray real-time detection system". The goal is to exploit a digital image processing software, based on studying the A356 series of aluminum-rims.In this paper the image pre-processing is the fist part, then image segmentation, and edge detection is the last one. The main points are showed as followed. In the image pre-processing stage, the software chose methods of the linen substitution and the logarithm transformation to solve the problem of low contrast, and get a nice result. And some flaw regions are small and not easy to see, so use the method of enlargement and rotation, and get a good effect. As to the noise of the multi–frame superimposition and the median filter, according to its characteristic, what is more, after the analyzing of the image, it is helpful to use gradient peaking based on the judgment of threshold. In the image segmentation stage, the software uses the iterative method to process threshold division, and get a nice result. But some noises appears, so chose the appropriate method of morphology noise, reduction (to open first closed). In the image edge detection stage, the software use the contour abstraction and the emboss two methods separately carries on the edge detection to the image, according to the image, characteristic, and get a good effect, what is more, it is really based for image recognition.After the article research, it became easy to reduce the miscarriage of justice. This software can do the high processing, and is advantageous for image processing and analysis and recognition. And it is also very helpful for the people doing the aluminum-rims detection and the flaw evaluation.
