The research of the wind load holds the very important role in the crane's design and calculation. The main reason is that it has extremely important influence to the crane's structure intensity and stabilization. Usually, the definition of the wind load has some factors, such as: wind pressure coefficients, reduction factor, efficient windward area and wind pressure in the same condition. Structure is the key work organization of the portal crane, according to the crane design norm, the load calculation of the drive device and transmission parts take these static loads such as rub resistance moment, breeze resistance moment, slant resistance moment and so on into account. As to the dynamic loads, the calculation only considers the inertial loads because of jump-start and brake. However, in the actual turn-over processor of the circumgyrate machinery, especially in the process of braking, the impact to the organization is very obvious. Now in the strength calculation of the circumgyrate machinery's parts, this distinct dynamic effect is replaced by safty coefficient. But the treatment of transforming a complicated dynamic system into a simple and man-made static system can't reflect the essence of the problem accurately. This study relates to the above factors, it's research purpose is that through the finite element analysis, simulates school's wind tunnel test, then gets the wind load simulation data, compares with the test results, obtains the wind load rules at last. The main research work:1) Introduce three method of the wind tunnel test, the atmosphere boundary characters, the research of the wind pressure coefficients and Wind Load in the international levels.2) Give some introduction to the school wind tunnel test, and relate to the study research, give the numerical simulation's purpose, meaning, research way and skill paths.3) Explain the CFD's principium in the study, and simulate wind tunnel flow field problems by the FLOTRAN part in the software of ANSYS. 4) Establish four 2-D models in the wind tunnel flow field, explain and analyze, obtain the conclusion, tell the reasons. Give the summarization and prospect.
