Facing a new situation of global manufacture, enterprises have to make full use ofthe global resources, integrate the manufacturing resources dynamically and optimally,so as to respond to the market in a faster, better and more efficient way. However, thetraditional networked manufacturing, which lacks necessary flexibility and openness,restricts the enterprises' quick response to the market, and hampers the manufacturingenterprises stepping towards the globalization of the world economic seriously. Thus, apublic technology and service platform is needed urgently to provide a function ofresource sharing and collaborative work for the worldwide enterprises. Manufacturinggrid has opened up a new path for the above-mentioned problems.It is just against such a background that this thesis starts the research onmanufacturing resources optimization deployment based on manufacturing grid. Thisthesis takes the manufacturing resource as the subject, and conducts in-depthdiscussions on such theoretical issues as modeling technique, scheduling mechanismand cooperation planning model. The significant research contributions of this thesis aredescribed as follows:1. Study on manufacturing resource modeling in manufacturing grid. Accordingto the characteristics of manufacturing resource in manufacturing grid, this thesis adoptsobject-oriented thought, and classifies the manufacturing resources. Using the unifiedmodeling language, a manufacturing resource description model is constructed. Thenthis thesis discusses the description and expression of the resource under the gridcircumstance combined with the standards of STEP and XML.2. Study on decision-making model of manufacturing resource scheduling. Aimedat such problems existing in manufacturing resource selection and scheduling asuncertainty, ambiguity and certain subjective factors of the decision-maker, adecision-making model of manufacturing resource scheduling is presented based onfuzzy analytical hierarchy process and grey correlation analysis. By combining fuzzyanalytical hierarchy process with grey correlation analysis and weighting the variousevaluate indexes, this model realizes the combination of qualitative analysis andquantitative computation, the goal of quantifying the qualitative indexes in a better level, and solves such problems as subjectivity of decision-making and consistency of analysis,which makes the choice result more objective.3. Study on a cooperation-planning model based on manufacturing grid. With theanalysis of six phases of the cooperation planning and consideration of the constraint oflocal resource and time constraint of the cooperation resource, a cooperation-planningmodel based on manufacturing grid is designed, according to the due time and total cost.A larger task set is on the permitting for the request of cooperation resource and time,and a scheme that the task manager itself may be permitted competing for all tasks ispresented. As a result, the optimization space for the cooperation planning is enlarged.Finally, the genetic algorithm is used and the validity and feasibility of the model isproved by a case.4. Design and realization of the resource management platform in themanufacturing grid. By analyzing the overall demand of the resource managementplatform of the manufacturing grid, this thesis establishes the system frame andidentifies the main function of the system. Manufacturing resource scheduling modeland collaborative plan model are applied in practical use, thus the prototype system isrealized.
