The future overall goal of the manufacturing industry is to achieve rapid design,rapid manufacturing,rapid detection,rapid response and rapid reorganization,and manufacturing grid is a new information technology infrastructure to achieve the goal pursued.But in the manufacturing grid system technology realization,with the manufacturing grid system growing complex,it is difficult to solve a number of problems,for example,less efficient in manufacturing resource scheduling,excessive price in dispatching,and so on.In order to better address these issues,agent technology with the advantages of autonomy,reaction and interactivity can be applied to the manufacturing grid system as part of the solution.Firstly,the theory about grid technology is analyzed,on the basis of which a manufacturing grid architecture is builded;the functional modules of manufacturing grid resource management system are introduced,and grid middlewares for realizing grid service are analyzed in detail.Secondly,the theoretical basis of agent technology and technology about resource encapsulation are introduced,on which modeling,descriptions and encapsulation of manufacturing resources are realized,and an example of encapsulating resources is provided;an agent-based manufacturing resource scheduling system model is constructed, the various functional modules of this system model are detailedly introduced,and then its feasibility is verified by an application example.Finally,the theory about double auction mechanism is analyzed,the architecture of double aution mechanism is constructed;double auction mechanism is introduced into manufacturing grid system to match resources,the Bayesian-Nash equilibrium-based bidding policy model of double auction mechanism is described,and effectiveness of manufacturing grid resource scheduling algorithm based on double auction mechanism is verified by simulation results.
