The Research For Some Problems Of Village Planning Of New Socialist Countryside

China is a large agricultural country with a long history. Uder the basic situation of predominant farming population and huge rural area, it is very important to take a careful research on village planning and construction. With the rapid development of urbanization, the society and economy of Chinese country is changing remarkably. The traditional village settlement, which is based on simple individual agriculture, has no longer adapted to the new productivity and is facing many problems. However, as a result of neglecting the study on village planning for a long time, the research on the space organization of village is still almost blank and the existing theory of village planning has seriously lagged behind the development of practice. To plan a diversified and complicated new style village only by a model of simple space centralization is incompetent, a deep comprehensive analysis and research on village planning should proceed. This paper analyses the problems with the village spatial layout planning, which concentrates on"village relocation and combination", and concludes that cities and countrysides overall planning is the only way to achieve harmounious development between cities and countrysides. Therefore, this study will be very valuable to renew our village planning ideas as well as guide the village construction.This paper contains five major parts. The first part introduces the background of this paper, and summarizes research progress to village problems of several correlative subjects, such as economics, sociology, geography, history, etc, and gives the main content, significance and overall framework of this paper. The second part explains some related theories and summarizes common experiences of village planning and construction in domestic and foreign typical areas, which lays a theoretical and practical foundation for the study. The third part describes the problems with current village construction, and analyses the reasons. The fourth part, taking the village spatial layout planning of LuanCheng as an example, mainly dissertate the problems exsiting in present village spatial layout planning. The last part clarifies the necessity as well as the ideas and methods of village planning under the cities and countrysides overall planning principle, and takes the planning of rural areas in the South West for reference, looking forward to setting a good example for the future village planning.
