Study On Design Of Economical Auto For Families In Delta Yangts Stripe

In the past three years, we have seen a substantial increase in private automobile which greatly changed the Chinese families life style. The growing rate of families which have owned a car also brings a great challenge to the cities' traffic and gradually forms a new threat of air pollution to the cities. The negative effect of steadily increasing of private automobiles is emerging, especially in the delta economic area by Yangtse River which is the fastest developing economic stripe of China.China government have approved special tax act to encourage citizens buying low-emission mini-cars which abate the traffic jams in cities and pollution threat. Ordinarily we defined the cars of which length is no more than 4200mm and emission is under 1.6L as economical cars. How to design economical cars that fit the citizens' life styles may greatly contribute to the development of delta economic stripe by Yangtse River and quality of local people's lives.The study on economical cars design is based on surveys of local citizen living state, and the trend of cities' transportation systems development in the economic stripe by Yangtse River, This study aim to find out the disciplines of citizens' daily needs on transportation, and their attitude towards the certain feature of automobile. By this study, we hope to give some feasible suggestions to economical cars design.
