Analysis On The Transportation Situation Of Highway Passenger Cars In Zhejiang Province

For many years, China has become the biggest country for vehicle sales and vehicle population, the development of passenger cars and its impact on regional and urban areas are important topic in traffic engineering field. Research on passenger car at home and abroad focused on the forecasting of passenger car ownership and analysis of problems and the countermeasures in the development process of passenger cars. The analysis and prediction of the object is mostly a independent city or the whole country. Because of the management system and survey instruments, the transport management department only pays attention to the transport development research of the operation passenger car on the highway. There is not much research on the development of passenger cars on the highway and the relevant statistical data is insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to study the transport trend of passenger cars on the freeway, which can provide basic data support for expressway construction plan and is very meaningful for the operation and management of the road network.Firstly, this paper studied the characteristics of road network on highway and the status of passenger cars between China and the United States to seek the development features of passenger cars at national level. Secondly, basing on the data of the expressway toll station and sampling survey in Zhejiang province, which was statistically analyzed with the SQL Server software, this paper studies the structure and change of the passenger transportation, the proportion of passenger cars in the total traffic volume,the situation of passenger travel and the actual passenger number of the passenger car on the expressway and so on. Which could be drawn from the results described above is that passenger cars are the main passenger transport on expressway. And then, in order to analyze the influence of the holiday travel factors on the passenger travel, this paper made a comparative analysis of the situation of personalized travel during the Spring Festival and National Day in 2015.The article analyses the time distribution of passenger cars, travel distribution, and the flow direction and shows that passenger cars are the main factor causing the holiday highway traffic jam. Finally, combined with the situation of passenger transportation on the expressway and travel characteristics, this paper analyzes the influence factors of the passenger car on the highway and puts forward the relevant suggestions.
