With the increasing of world population and deteriorating of the energy resource problem, all countries come to realize importance and urgency of imploring new sources of energy. Wind power generating is greatly favored because of its character of no pollution and inexhaustibility. Nowadays, using variable speed constant frequency (vscf) generation technology to improve the output power of wind power generator is becoming the research hotspot of wind power system. Wind power generator is developing to the direct of having high reliability, low maintenance and cost, high efficiency.MW permanent magnet synchronous generator with simple structure, so good ventilation, large moment of inertia, high reliability and high efficiency can be droved directly by wind power machine. It can be used in the direct-drive wind power generation.In this paper, the research status of the wind power generation is summarized. The study history and developing future of the wind power generator are introduced. The rotor magnetic circuit structure and work principle of the generator are studied in detail, the function capability of it is analysied mainly. According to the characteristic of the MW permanent magnet synchronous generator, the paper studies the choosing of the main dimension of the generator, electromagnetic load, rotor magnetic circuit structure, magnetic material and armature winding. Based on the common design method of the permanent magnet synchronous generator, the paper uses RMxprt software of Ansoft Company to design the MW permanent magnet wind power synchronous generator. The modle of the generator has two different loads, one is independent resistance load and the other is infinity electrical network load. The two different loads are parametric analysed. The MW permanent magnet synchronous generator's static electromagnetic field and transient electromagnetic field have been analyzed in detail by the Maxwell 2D. The result of analysis compared with the calculative result of the RMxprt confirmed the validity of the MW permanent magnet wind power synchronous generator. |
