With the development of science and technology progressing, power transformer industry in our country has got great development. The silicon steel plate is used in cutting the magnetic core material of the special transformer in the transformer production department, and silicon steel plate cutting is the critical processing in the power transformer production. The cutting quality influences directly the conversion efficiency of the transformer. Up to now, there are some problems such as ageing equipment, inefficiency, low automation level and big error sheafing in china. So transformation and replacing the older generation are emergent need. But the cost of importing overseas production line is very high. Therefore, combining with the practical situation and adopting current research findings of fuzzy control theory, the cutting control system of silicon steel plate is developed.First of all, this paper introduces some way of cutting line control. In the system, we choose go-pause feeding o f three-stage deceleration; secondly, this paper presents systemic domination principle. The series of FX2N PLC was the master control unit in the system, and it connects with the series of MR-J2 servo motor through orientation unit and servo amplifier. The trait of positional control and multistage velocity control are used under the inherent specialty of motor torsion. The motor was controlled accurately through a kind of method named Form Address Orientation, and the optimization project about dual control of position and velocity was deduced. Thus, the precision and the speed of the system could work at the status of optimization. And then, this article emphasizes the applying of fuzzy domination principle in cutting line control system. The system combines fuzzy control method with traditional control technology, and designs fuzzy PID adaptive controller. According to the real situation, the parameters are revised continuously in control processes. So the cutting precision and cutting efficiency are gained further enhance.The results of the simulation show the validation of the proposed method. Finally the application of the touch screen and PLC in the system is introduced. And then it has been realized by programming.The cutting line system is running normal since it had put into operation. Variable scale and group cutting was come true. And they adapt to the requirement of special transformer. Experiment indicated the length of the cutting sheet could be satisfied with the technologic precision (+0.005mm) completely. And the operating efficiency of the complete production line is enhanced infinitely. The method in the system not only applies to shear the silicon steel plate, but also it can be applied in other plate area of production. So the method has the features of broad usage.
