Along with society's unceasing progress and development,water resources spatial non-uniform distribution problem becomes a more and more important restriction factor in our country.Under such a background,Inter-basin transfer schemes become the important project to redistribution water resources in our country.Therefore,the security and efficiency to long distance water conveyance has also been promotioned to an unprecedented altitude,the huge demand on this domain has also attracted multitudinous scholars' and experts' vision.As an important water conveyance way, the open canal water conveyance has receives day by day takes for its security and the rational request.But there are many different views and the opinions on some technical question related the open canal water conveyance in the academia world at present.In the foundation of referring to the massive domestic and foreign literature, the author established the correlation procedure to the characteristic lines and the Preissmann of the method to hydraulic transients calculate separately,and comparative analysised the service ability and the limited difference between them.In this foundation,through computation simulation of the Preissmann method,the author discussed the influence of the related essential factor of the open canal hydraulic transients process on the value of space between the regulating gates.This achievement provides beneficial guidance to designing,optimization and circulating of the open canal water conveyance.Moreover, in the water conveyance project which the open canal and the pumping station are unified, its security and the rationality become especially complex.Has established the hydraulic transients procedure, and simulated the movement of pumping station system when its movement operating mode is transformed.The author found that the forebay water volume control question of the pumping station is extremely serious, regarding which needs to take the effective action to prevent its adverse consequences.This achievement has provided the basis and the reference on similar systematic safe operation.
