To rebuild the source water well in Machikou is the main objective of Future Technology City Water Supply Project. It is necessary to build up new water pipeline, along the Beige road and Shunsha Road, to the new-established storage water factory in the north of the Future Technology City. Meanwhile, A reliable water supply method, with rational allocation of water resources program, is needed to guarantee the water supply for the future Technology City.The water supply project of future science and technology city aims at ensuring the safety of water supply and supporting the development of future science and technology city. The project selects 15 water source wells as groundwater source with the largest scale of water supply and water storage capacity of 40,000 cubic meters every day. The water source wells will be connected to newly-built pipeline through the current main D line and C line water pipes. The total length of newly-built pipeline is 28.08 km, of which the DN900 nodular cast-iron pipe is 3.95 km and the DN800 nodular cast-iron pipe is 24.13 km. The newly-built pipeline is laid from west to east and from high to low and extended to the water plant's forebay of the future science and technology city, providing the stable water source for the water plant. The plant lies in the northwest corner of the future science and technology city and is set with eight sets of water supply pumps, six for use and two for reserve. Pressure-measuring points are set at the water plant's exit and according to the outlet pressure signal of pump station, the domestic water are supplied to users in the future science and technology city by adopting the variable-frequency and constant-pressure water supply way.In this paper, the influence of entire water supply system are investigated for the constant pressure water supply, which is combined with the design example for the Future Technology City. The influence of various parameters on the system are analysed. The water pump, variable frequency and adjusting flow valve joint control etc are studied.The speed performance curve of water pump is drawn with drawing parallel curve. In addition, the speed ratio is given by the mapping. The model is established for entire water system, calculation and analysis are used to the water conveyance system. The mathematical model analysis of the water flow in closed conduits system is described briefly. Finally, the result of the transition process for the Future Technology City Water Supply Project are received, which provides technical support for the long-distance water delivery project design and operation management. The conclusions are following:1. For water source higher than water factory, the flow separation phenomenon show in low traffic conditions.So, the regulating valve should be set up at the end to avoid the occurrence of flow separation. The characteristic curve of regulating valve should be drawn for different conditions.2. For the various water wells to supply water pipeline operating conditions, the frequency converter should be configured in the water wells deep well. The impact for the water supply pipe is reduced by the speed regulating.3. For the various water wells to supply water pipeline operating conditions, water pumps should run one by one in the pump start and stop, and should have the appropriate interval.4. The water transfer system and commissioning program plan are proposed.
