Research Of Strike Energy Of Roll On/roll Off Wharf

As a considerable ingredient of wharf's secure use, the strike energy against wharf is affected by many factors. Studying the strike energy has a great significance to the structure design and secure work of wharf. The roll on/roll off wharf's operation mode and security demands are different with general wharf, so it has a particular strike energy and structure force condition.In this paper, the comparing calculation of physics model,numerical simulation and available standard formula is implemented to research the strike energy of roll on/roll off wharf. The influence caused by different berthing modes and velocities is discussed in system, as a result a calculation formula for strike energy of roll on/roll off wharf is put forward.The work in this paper provides the scientific reference for the compilation of Chinese roll wharf design code, while the research production has been collected into the code's content.
