As the development of the economic globalization,many manufacture bases started to immigrate to developing countries,major projects' investment increases,mega engineering facilities and constructional appliance can only be transported via shipping.Due to the fact that these cargoes usually have characters like oversize,overweight and irregular forms and so on,which made it more difficult to load and unload by the traditional crane,and caused several problems during transferring,meanwhile restricted by the lift machinery's condition in the project region and ports of different countries,it's hard to conduct the lift loading for heavy-lifts.Therefore,plans for heavy-lifts'transferring&loading/unloading,like roll-on roll-off mode,slide-on slide-off mode and float on float off mode,appeared,among which the roll-on roll-off mode excels due to its obvious advantages and it's widely used nowadays.Along with the development of the shipbuilding technology,the tonnage of the ships designed for heavy-lifts,transportation became bigger and bigger,multi heavy-lifts loading on single ship is generally exist,as the particularity of heavy-lifts,it's of essential importance to control the ballast water rate matches the loading/unloading process,and arrange the loading/unloading sequence reasonably for the sake of reducing the risks.This paper mainly studied related knowledge of the ship and the tidal impact to the roll-on loading,established the external and internal ballast water adjusting models for roll-on loading.As per the ballast water adjusting model and the related knowledge,combined with the mixed programming of C++ and Matlab,using Microsoft Access as the data base for storing the specific and calculated data of the real ship,the heavy-lifts roll-on/roll-off auxiliary strategy-making system can be developed.Real case calculation was conducted in the paper via using the system for ballast water discharging plan during the roll-on process of multi heavy-lifts and internal adjusting plan of ballast water for single heavy-lift loading.Eventually drafted the external ballast water adjusting plan for multi heavy-lifts and the internal ballast water adjusting plan for single heavy-lift,and compared the result with the real case,prove the accuracy of the result.Through the calculation of the real case,the ballast water adjusting model established in this paper can be applied in the ballast water adjusting process of heavy-lifts during roll-on or roll-off.The developed roll-on/roll-off auxiliary strategy-making system can help provide ballast water adjusting plan transversely and longitudinally for a single or multi heavy-lifts,specify the roll-on velocity on each step and the loading sequence for multi heavy-lifts.
