In recent years, the slope failure caused by rainfall infiltration more and more frequently, and more and more experts attach importance to this subject. This paper analyzed the change of seepage-field in the soil slope on the different conditions of rainfall infiltration on the saturated-unsaturated seepage theory and rainfall infiltration theory. And it analyzed the soil slope transient stability based on the transient seepage-field which is calculated on the shear strength theory of unsaturated soil.The following is included: Saturated-unsaturated seepage theory on the condition of rainfall infiltration is introduced, and the control equation of unsaturated seepage is also introduced, and boundary conditions are given on the condition of rainfall infiltration. The deducing process of finite-element control equation of saturated-unsaturated seepage is presented. The soil-slope stability mechanism under the influence of rainfall infiltration is expatiated compendiously. The soil slope in 1Group Gumu village of Renhe town in Yunyang city of Chongqing is analyzed as an example. The transient seepage-field is calculated by finite-element simulation method, and the corresponding distributing drawings of transient pore-water pressure are obtained. Then, based on the shear strength theory of unsaturated soil and pore-water pressure which is obtained above, the paper analyzed the stability of soil slope, and calculated the transient safety factors on different conditions of rainfall infiltration.
