Study Of Automatic Target-Scoring System For Tank Shooting Based On Outside Ballistics

The tank shooting training is very important to improve the shooting skill of shooter. During shot training, show target, check target, report target and statistic the record of training result are the main support work in aim area. In the past, the support work, which is heavy, inefficient and unsafe, are mainly accomplished by manual work. And there are very strict requires for the organization of shot training. Therefore, research in the automatic target score system for tank shot is quite necessary.According to realization principle, there are four ways of realizing the automatic target report systems at present, such as photoelectric sensing, electrode embedding, sound-electricity locating and image recognizing. But they are mainly serve for small arms shot, not satisfying the characteristic and requires in tank shot.This paper presents an out-ballistics based automatic target-score systems, according to the research in tank tectonics and ballistics. Using artillerist locating system and expand frequency communicate technology, basing on the location coordinate of tank and target, basing on the data of tank shooting pose provided by sensors in tank, the system calculates the point of intersection (the ball locating point) for ballistic trajectory and target surface in order to ascertain the shot result of the shooter, and calculates the direction warp and height warp for the ball locating point with the target center. The shooter can do correcting job base on this information. This automatic target-score system can realize exact target scoring, and expediently manage shooter information and shot result. The simulation result shows that the automatic target score system is not only able to improve the automatic degree in tank shot training, but also make the evaluation more reasonable.
