In order to improve muzzle kinetic energy and reduce temperature coefficient, academic foundation and technique approach to improve muzzle velocity of projectile have been discussed in this dissertation, and characteristics and performance-token methods of low temperature sensitivity coating charge(LTSC) have been summed up and analysed in the meantime. Through the way of improving, optimizing and advancing shape and prescription of propellant, and integrational applying new charge design project such as LTSC coating technique and mixed-charge technique, selecting 125mm tank gun as studying object, a series of optimizing study and experiment about propellant and charge frame design have been put up. Application study and ballistic effect of design test project in 125mm armour-piercing projectile show that obtaining the improved ballistic standard can carry out. Meanwhile, some feasible study ways have been put forward on the basis of former experiments.
