In this paper,W-Ni-Fe alloy with special properties is prepared,which can be used for explosive projectile material,This projectile can ignite the protective oil tank and detonate the payload of missile.The tungsten alloy material are prepared by spray drying,and the microstructure?mechanical properties and broken characteristics is analyzed by XRD?scanning electron microscope?universal testing machine and the level of light gas gun.The main results are follows:1.The density of the W-Ni-Fe alloy is 98.4% ~ 99.2% to theoretical density,hardness is HRC36 ~ 45,the organizational structure was analyzed with different sintering temperature,results showed that the alloy is in the solid phase when the temperature is below 1455 ?,the liquid phase is just appeared when the temperature is in 1455 ?and the W spheroidizing particle grain is about 20 um.with the increasing sintered temperature and hold time,The particle size is growth,when the temperature is 1550 ? the grain size is about 50 um.2.The tensile properties and elongation of samples is compared with three different compositions,different sinter temperatures and heat treatment handling.Found that the tensile strength of the sample is raise with the higher temperature,when the temperature is rising from 1475 ? to 1525 ?,the tensile strength of 97W-Ni-Fe-X is from 200 MPa to 820 MPa.The tensile strength of 97W-Ni-Fe-X is increased from 630 MPa to 820 MPa after heat treatment.In the same sintering condition,the tensile strength of 97W-Ni-Fe is 910 MPa,97 W-Ni-Fe-X is 820 MPa,and 98 W-Ni-Fe has the lowest tensile strength is about 755 MPa.3.The target test found that 97W-Ni-Fe-X warhead is cracking after penetrating 5 mm steel plate,bottom is appears elastic crack,there is obvious tendency of broken,97 W-Ni-Fe and 98W-Ni-Fe is not find out the crack,in the same sinter condition,the broken ability of 97W-Ni-Fe-X is better.4.compared with ordinary W-Ni-Fe alloy fine grain W-Ni-Fe alloy is prepared in this paper has a certain broken potential,It is laid a good foundation for improving technological conditions and increasing the fragmentation of tungsten alloys.
