Illuminance-meter is a most-used instrument for photometric measurement and it is wide-used in every walk of life.At present, the whole process of the verification of illuminance-meter is done by handwork on the whole,that is,a traditional illuminance-meter verification system is manipulated by two persons,every illuminance-meter needs to be located and aligned artificially,then readings should be recorded in 14 location and the result must also be processed artificially.However, the handwork has been out-of-date for the large-scale verification work with the development of economy and the huge number of illuminance-meters to be verified. So it's significant to build a illuminance-meter fully-automatic verification system for the purpose of improving efficiency and accuracy.This paper discusses a implementation scheme of building a a illuminance-meter fully-automatic verification system.The system is a computer-based application system,which key is image processing,etc.The self-developed software uses WiT library as the core of the machine vision application,and takes full advantage of the convenient interface of open-source libraries such as FreeImage,etc.Under the support of this software,we also give system cost enough comprehensive consideration to make the system to be realistic in application.Under the experiment platform we have built, we tested the software & hardware components and the system's feasibility as well as the concept of fully-automatic verification has been proved.
