After decades of development, the photovoltaic pump system has become an important part of solar energy application. Furthermore, with its tremendous social and economic advantages, the photovoltaic pump system has been getting more and more attention. Nowadays, convertors used in the photovoltaic pump system give priority to special and lower power ones with single function, lower market share and high cost, which may affect the development of the photovoltaic pump system. Although general inverters with mutual technology, advanced craftwork, lower cost and high quality are series, none of them can be used in the photovoltaic pump system directly. In this paper, a general inverter with photovoltaic pump system control function is developed, and it combines the characteristics of general inverters with the photovoltaic pump system. The main content in this paper is:1. Based on the study of characteristics, principles of general inverters and the theory of V/F, the structures of the main and control circuit of system are designed;2. By analyzing the principle of Space Vector, the algorithm of Space Vector PWM is implemented in software by virtue of an optimized subsection synchronous modulation technology;3. According to the theory of photovoltaic pump system, the tracking theories, advantages and disadvantages of CVT(Constant Voltage Tacking) and TMPPT(True Maximum Power Point Tracking) used in maximum power point tracking of photovoltaic cells are analyzed, and these methods are realized in general inverter;4. The traits of general inverters and the photovoltaic pump system are combined with, and the control diagram of system is designed, also the function modules of system are realized in software;5. Prototype of 5.7KVA is developed, and experiment is carried out on the prototype. Testing results validate the design methods are valid and rational;...
