Cast-in-situ RC hollow floor system is a new kind of floor structure that has some Cavities in the middle of the up and down rebar made by filling component. It has the advantage of lightness, large span, and good seismic behavior. It has been increasingly applied in engineering practice recently and has a promising market future. This paper introduces the regular design method, and compares with the finite element analysis, then put up with some deficiency and some points of attention for usual design.In order to overcome the shortage in usual design, this paper places an important on the design optimization of the cast-in-site reinforced concrete hollow floor system. On the basis of the basic theories of cast-in-site RC floor system and the finite element method, this paper draws an optimal layout direction of the hollow pipe and optimal way to arrange the rebar through a practical example, which will be propitious to be applied in the structure design.For the purpose of studying the cast-in-site RC hollow floor system further, this paper makes a simulation analysis of the testing piece from a reference documents. In this process, this paper attends to carry On detailed exposition to the element model, material constitutive model, loading mode, solving method, and selection of some key parameters. The input work is completed by use of the procedures and the user subroutines provided by MSC.Marc. Then the results of analysis and the results in the reference document are compared, so the validity of the finite element analysis and the rationality of the parameter used in the analysis are proved.The achievement of this paper can be referred for further studying on design optimization of the measure of the cast-in-site RC hollow floor system.
