The main work of this dissertation is to design the Electro-servo system of Fin-Stabilizer ,and to study the controller of the system by experiment.Due to it is a redesigned system, it must be debugged and experiment to make it accord with the design target. At first, makes design of the Electro-servo system based on the design of Fin-Stabilizer and experiment system target. Designed and realized a system include with actuating unit, detection unit, monitoring equipment and control unit. Realized the function of servo-control, detection and data register.System model is needed by design of controller. In the dissertation, system model is found by system identification of step response. At first, order of model is decided through theory of electro-servo system transfer function. The closed loop transfer function is found by the system identification experiment of step response, and the open loop transfer function is found by it. In order to the need of identification experiment, PC Based PLC is used as a controller and an unit of data register.Based on the model of identification , PID controller is designed by Root Locus Rule and Ziegler—Nichol Rule. Through test of experiment step response, the system is meet the design requirements.
