Turbo-charging unit of pressurized boiler is the key part of steam power unit on big ship. Its main function is to supply the pressurized boiler enough air for fuel burning under different working condition. Although the related research on turbo-charging unit of pressurized boiler has long history, the basic theory on turbo-charging unit of pressurized boiler is faultiness, and the literature of academic research is not so much. The former research in this field did not realize the complexity of turbo-charging unit matching, so the research on turbo-charging unit of pressurized boiler was limited. In order to do an in-depth study on turbo-charging unit of pressurized boiler, the investigation is done in this paper with a certain model of turbo-charging unit as example.Firstly, the development history of pressurized boiler of ship and turbo-charging unit are introduced in this paper. Then the structure and working principle of turbocharging unit are described detailedly, matching theory on turbo-charging unit is analysed, power balance method of turbo-charging unit and theory of turbo-charging unit matching with pressurized boiler are expounded, at the same time this paper does the matching calculation and gives out the general model of matching calculation for turbo-charging unit. According to the working characteristic and working condition request of turbo-charging unit, project design of electro-hydraulic servo system for turbo-charging unit is done. Design calculation on parts of electro-hydraulic servo system is done too, the dimension of hydraulic cylinder is given out, and the type of electro-hydraulic servo valve is selected. At the same time, this paper gives out the simulation model of every part. At last, based on the software Matlab/Simulink, validate the simulation models which have been set up in this paper.The conclusion of this paper shows that the matching calculation model which is set up in this paper can speed up the matching work on turbo-charging unit matching with pressurized boiler, and it is effective; the electro-hydraulic servo system of turbocharging unit which is designed in this paper accords with the design request.
