Stiffening girder sections of suspension bridge are often connected each other by temporary connection during the construction. A method of temporary connection simulation is proposed in the thesis to analyze construction course realisticly and subtly, and the erection of stiffening girder is analyzed with the method.This thesis presents the realistic significance on researching of the erection and temporary connection, and briefly reviews the research history from the domestic and overseas. Several sequences of erection adopted at present are introduced, the advantage and disadvantage and also applicability of every method is briefly introduced. The structure of several temporary connections is specified, and the theory that each kind of temporary connection works is analyzed and introduced. The simulation of temporary connection is elaborated.Aim at the schemes of erection from midspan towards the towers and from towers towards the midspan in the thesis, detailed finite element model is established based on the project background of Xihoumen Bridge. The change rule of slits between lower limb of stiffening girders, the change rule of internal force of temporary connection, the change rule of force of hangers and the change rule of stress of stiffening girder and so on are analyzed during the erection of suspension bridge, the conclusion is reached that the modeling method of suspension bridge is rational.Aim at the scheme of erection from two towers to the midspan, the influence of temperature, the length error of hanger, the construction temporary load as well as the scheme of partition on the stiffening girders are analyzed. Suspension bridge is analyzed comparatively in which several temporary connections are used, and different method of forward analyzing of erection are analyzed comparatively.
