Tunnel project is geological engineering. Which proved up geological conditions in front of tunnel face has become one of the major dominating factors in the tunnel construction safety. Therefore the work of geological prediction has become an important part of tunnel construction. This paper studied the geology prediction of Hongshiyan tunnel in Hefei-Wuchang Railway. The paper deployed works around the several aspects.This paper introduces the existing geological prediction technical means used of working principle and the advantages and disadvantages, Gives the main content of geological analysis based geological prediction technology on geological conditions and geological disaster aspects. Based on the example of Hongshiyan tunnel, Explore the practical application results of the combination of the prediction method based on TSP- geological analysis-drilling. There is basis correspondence between the predicted results and the actual tunnel face conditions.Gas geological conditions and the possibility of gas disaster is one of the major tasks of geological prediction. Combustion of rock piles occurs in many tunnels including Hongshiyan tunnel after explosion of tunnel face. Reveals a special geological conditions of gas which differents from the coal strata. This paper analysed the gas from the tunnel adjacent regional distribution of mineral resources and gas composition in the tunnel face and continuous Gas Detection. And initial explained the gas sources, causes and Storage conditions, put forward a set of effective gas geological disaster prevention measures. Prevention Results has reached a better target.Rock deformation of tunnel excavation is impacted by not only the construction methods but also the combination of factors of the rock geological conditions.in order to judging the rock stability, This paper gave DK188+560 nonlinear regression analysis of monitoring data, used a finite difference method of Flac5.0 software to obtain rock parameters. And used numerical Simulation to attain the rock deformation of the same rock's level and the same geological conditions, Through using dynamic rock deformation data to predict geological disasters, it has gained some useful results.
