Urinary sediment inspection is an important method of clinical diagnosis. Recent years,many manipulators have the tendency of ignoring the microscope inspection along withdry-chemical analyzer was extensively used in China. Because of dry-chemical analysis whichhave much relate to some relational parts of morphology, and urine analyzer can only checksome urinary sediment ingredients in urine, so dry-chemical analysis exists its own limitation.Nowadays, it is carried out by the clinical doctors by hands and naked eyes, which is atiered job, and impossible to get standardized. Luckily, as the development of the patternrecognition and computer vision technique, it is possible to make the inspection automatic.Generally, the automatic-inspection can be divided into five processes, which contain thefollowing parts: the sample collection, microscope automatic focusing, the image capture andsegmentation, feature extraction, and feature based image recognition. This thesis will put greatemphasis on the image capture and segmentation. The following text will discuss these processesone by one.Based on the upward causes, DJ8300 Urinary sediment analyzer which is used to analyzethe visible image of urine, and which is a high aptitude,full automatic,external instrument. Thesystem adopts PIC16F74/73 MCU of PIC series of America Microchip corp. which was used tocontrol hardware circuit parts, using CCD,collection card and PC to realize image collection anddata processing, make use of figure image processing and mode to research and design a systemwhich serves for urinary sediment micrograph analysis and disposal. D J8300 Urinary sedimentanalyzer was used to implement microscope inspection. This instrument mainly used for clinicalexperiment, making digitized quantitative analysis to Urinary Sediment microscopic examinationproject, which not only improve the precision of Urinary Sediment Inspection, but also bring aqualitative change to the current clinical examination, emancipating workers from the boring andrepetitive work. And Urinary Sediment microscopic has more accurate result function with highefficient,concise,rapid and without pollution, which provide benefic help to hospitalinformation intercommunion and the standardization of distinguishing disease diagnosis, and hasimportant clinically meaning to diagnosis waterworks disease, which also provide convenienceto the medical resource sharing and the remote professor consultation.
