The contamination of spacecraft surface environment is an interesting topic in the spacecraft environment project and environment safeguard for spacecraft. In this dissertation , they are studied by numerical simulation and instrument development respectively.In the first part of this paper, the importance of detection on orbit is introduced in the indication system for spacecraft surface inductive environment. And the pollutant to the spacecraft surface which touched is classified into tow categories mainly. They are molecular contamination and particulate contamination. Theoretical analysis model is produced separately , as well as the influence of them.The Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM),detects the pollutant mass and its variation situation of superficial deposition contamination, by the surveying the frequency decrease between the reference chip and the sensitive chip frequency decrease. In second part of this paper, based on the scheme stage for the instrument, the generally overview of instrument development is instructed . Then some improving measures are also proposed. The sensitivity test is the most important in all the instrument index test. In the article besides two measuring technique used commonly, more advanced technique—thin film interference , is introduced which is developed newly in the international . It has the count for much significance to the quartz crystal micro balance precision measuring.The sensitivity test is in the instrument all targets test most important. proposed on the present international more advanced thin film interference method carries on the sensitivity the test, atomic oxygen in low earth orbit . In the paper , the introduction of their working pattern is made, and the analysis to the temperature effect in the process is implemented also.Cryogenic Quartz Crystal Microbalance which matches Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) experiment, could very the contamination .So it is one of instrument very important ground experiments. The paper has carried on the introduction to it, and has analyzed the experimental environment as well as the flow, which lay a foundation for the next step of work.
