Anti-Slide stability is the main problem in engineering geological conditions of high concrete gravity dams. Both the boundary of anti-slide stability and the parameter of weak interbed are basic elements of anti-slide stability. The interlayer in the sedimentary rock of Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station constructing is too complex. This paper emphasizes on how to confirm the boundary of anti-slide stability and the parameter of weak interbed, taking Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station for example.The dissertation demonstrates how to set up the outspread three-dimensional model of weak interbeds by prospecting information, and check the model repeatly until proved creditable, then add the topographic model and the dam to it. The model is very helpful for the analysis of anti-slide stability of dam foundation. In order to acquire the rational strength parameter of interlayer in the dam foundatin, analyzed lots of datum of physical and mechanical experiments. After summarizing the testing production, consulting interrelated criterions and the existent environment, finally obtained the strength parameter of interlayers.In the end, cut the model to compute the anti-slide stability of dam foundation.
