Research On Tactical Data Link Interoperable Layered Model And Efficiency Evaluating Method

In the plan of Net Centric Warfare (NCW), which was advanced by US Department of Defence in Joint Vision 2020, It's the very important feature to developing the communication between participants. Tactical Data Link (TDL) is the main methods for exchanging real-time or near-real-time information. And TDL provides authority, delineates responsibility, establishes procedures, provides guidance, and defines terms for the employment of C4ISR, intelligence, and weapons systems. This paper has researched on the TDL applications, developing, interoperable with GIG, and efficiency evaluating, and did the following works.1. Researched on TDL applications and developingAt first, this chapter introduces several great-used TDL, TADIL-J(Link-16) in particular, then introduces the developing of Russian TDL in brief. At last, this paper researched the TDL's developing, especially the Multi-TDL coorporation.2. Advanced the Tactical Data Link Referece Model (TDLRM)First advanced a TDL interoperable layered model, TDLRM, then designed each layer's function, and researched the interoperable technique between TDLRM and GIGRM3. Researched the methods of TDL efficiency evaluatingFirst advance a method based TDL interconnection to redescribe the battle model, then use it in an example, at last use a combat simulation software, EINSTein, to research the effect of using TDL in airfight.
